There will be wonderful days in my future but not today. There will be lovely people who help me in ways big and small but not today. There will be cool and productive days in my garden, but not today. There will be days when I sell a lot of old treasures I have collected to people who value them...

I guess I will be spending as much time as possible home this weekend. The weather in my neck of the woods will be hot and very humid and I don't function in this heat. I have to work on Sunday but until then I will mostly be in and and relaxing in front of a television. Enjoy your day.

Today was the first time I took my dogs to be groomed since my Billy died. It was and is really hard. I knew the others were more anxious than usual and when the groomer saw me I cried. I came home and watered the flowers particularly those around Billy's grave. I spoke to him but frankly it didn...

Since moving to the Berkshires, in western Massachusetts, some eight years ago I have volunteered or worked at Tanglewood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Pops and any number of world re-known musicians, singers, and groups. I have also had opportunities to greet or s...

I am working today at the Antique Gallery where I will have a space until the end of September. My time there will be different today though because I know I am leaving and so the booth liquidation really matters. I will begin to pack up and take some things home with me. I hope we are busy.

For the last couple of years I have had a space in a local antique gallery near my home where I worked on Sunday's. I learned this week that the owner is moving in less than six weeks and didn't bother to tell anyone. Needless to say I am bummed and more, but right now my focus is one liquidating...

I have a space in a local antique gallery near my home. I have been there about two years and work there on Sundays to offset the cost of my booth. I learned this week that the owner is moving out at the end of next month. Sadly she hasn't told the vendors save one. I am beyond angry. People are ...
