Every time we disparage the state of the economy and talk about the terrible state of real estate, we create a self fulfilling prophesy. It is my view that if we are positive, then positive things will happen. There are great opportunities in the market and it is time to stress the positive, and put a bow on it.

I am in a good place. I love where I live and I am enjoying my life. I have good friends, plenty to do and I continue to travel to places that intrigue me and bring me joy. My gang of pups bring me laughs and love and I believe Chico will be better (the biopsy was good). I miss those I have lost ...

Today is a different kind of day filled with mostly ice. It is scary outside because with ice, you don't see the problem but generally experience the pain of it. I have fallen in the past so I am in today. Those who must be out, need to take it slow and worry about driving. I am glad that is no l...

It has taken a week but I think Chico and I have settled into our post surgery routine. Chico had a cancerous growth in his mouth that needed out and with it came part of his jaw. He is wearing a cone and I have medications he needs to have every day. They are administered by a syringe three time...

Each of us deals with life in our own ways. With the New Year only days away many are looking forward to a new slate, new opportunities and finally new days to meet and greet. It is a good time of year to take stock, plan ahead and rid ourselves of old hardships. That said I would content that ev...

Chico is my youngest pup at five years old. He is a strong, loving and good boy. He had a growth in his mouth, and long story short he had surgery last Saturday to remove it along with a good piece of his jaw. It was, and still remains scary. I brought him home on Sunday and we have spent the wee...

It has been a quiet couple of days here in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts. The sun is out and the snow is melting. Now there is talk of a major event (yes, that is what they are called here) on Sunday into Monday. So I suspect that soon the food stores will be crowded with those like me ...

It is Christmas Day and many folks celebrate. Others, like me relax, contemplate and think about times gone by and those who are no longer here. It gets harder every year but that is part of life. I have had a hard year. I have lost those I haven't blogged about and some that I have. Now I have a...

Doing good is a gift, not just for a holiday, but all year long and in every way. For me good is generally associated with animals I have known and loved and who have taught me more than people have. My best days have largely been associated with providing homes for rescues that needed help. I ca...

My youngest pup Chico had surgery on Saturday. He did well for the procedure and is doing pretty well now too. Some medications were left at the hospital and his pain meds I screwed up so it was discarded. Today the replacements should be here by FedX. I am not good at administering the meds even...

It has been a difficult weekend. My youngest pup Chico Todd had surgery Saturday an hour and a half away at a specialty hospital. He did well and I picked him up yesterday. I came home with numerous medications and yet they forgot one that had been refrigerated. When I got home I diluted the wron...
