   Today was my first day at my part-time job at Thompson Tax Service in Huntsville, AL. I actually enjoyed it! I am the Receptionist so all I do is schedule appointments. I didn't make it in time to take the classes to prepare taxes. I am going to plan on doing that next year from January through April 15.I don't have to commit myself, and the job is really flexible. I can work whenever I want to, and take off it I need to. This will help bring in extra income for me, and maybe I can meet people that are looking to buy or sell a home. Maybe I can learn a little more about tax information, and the IRS than I already know. Does anyone else do this or work a second job?  01/17/2008

Beware of Scams--Take Extra PrecautionsSubmitted by: Kimberly Grant, Huntsville Real Estate Agent Huntsville Real Estate BlogI usually try to stay away from sad news on my blog but I felt led to share this post to spread the word about more scams occuring in our area.  I'm sure many of you have heard of the awful tragedy that happened this week with the killing of Officer William Eric Freeman in our area.  What's even more terrible about this event is that there are deviants trying to capitalize on the death of an officer that died in the line of duty.I wanted to spread the word, while it is true that Officer Freeman has left a widow and five young children, there are no phone solicitations or door-to-door solicitations occuring in our city on behalf of the family or the police departme... 12/18/2007

I would like to send my condolences out to the family and friends of Eric Freeman. He was a police officer in Huntsville, AL who was shot. He left behind a wife, and 5 children.
