Funny question Paul.  What is a day off or what does it fell like is the question.  With the market the way it is I work almost 24/7....

I can't remember when I really had a full weekend off. I take the time when I can get it. 

I take time off whenever I need to do that....it's rare that I need it....rare.

I never seem to have a full weekend, take yesterday worked well into 8pm and today just a couple of hours than taking Sunday afternoon off. Midweek is usually impossible as it is busier.

It depends on the week and what we are up to.  We have a 3day mid week intensive trip coming up, which means that we will probably we will take that weekend off.  Mondays are a good off for us.  A

I work weekends unless I have special plans. I made my peace with that long ago since that is when people are off wok. I do enjoy time off in the middle of the week - much better for getting things done, seeing Dr's, and so on.

Hi Paul -- for me, sometimes taking part of the day during the week to do "stuff" or to do nothing works out quite well.  While parts of my job seems to be "waiting around" there is something to be said for the flexibility.   

Even thought I may try to take a weekend off, I still end up working.  The only time I really have away from work is when I am hiking in the mountains where there is no reception.  Once I get back to civilization, i have all these messages on my phone.

I find taking time to "slow dow" every day really helps.   For me going to the skating rink and practicing for a few hours every other day really helps me recharge.  

We are constantly summoned via phone, text or email, turning it all off for a few hours works for me.   That's taking care of businesss and me both.

We have a weekend, unless the phone rings.

Essentially, I work 7 days a week unless I am on vacation or it's a holiday like Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter.

Paul - I typically take a day off whenever I can, which is not that often lately. It doesn't necessarily have to be a weekend.

I can do either or both

If I get a day off, it is usually Sunday.   The weekdays are just too busy and when I can I schedule classes.

No weekend.  Usually I have Sunday and one day off during the week.

Its a 24/7 business. I make it a point to call leads within 5 min of being contacted by them, no matter where I am at or what I am doing. It shows responsiveness and builds an initial foundation with clients. I go to bed thinking of what I have to do and for who the next day and wake up wondering if sellers have gotten back about home inspection details. 

I'm taking most of this weekend off, Paul, but typically a weekday is the better alternative for business reasons.

Weekends are still fairly busy. My business is 24/7. 

Weekends is the busy time, having to run other businesses outside of real estate I find myself working 7 days a week. What saves me is knowing I can take a vacation every so often and get away with only doing an hour or so of work there and really enjoy and relax for 2 weeks or however long.

Having weekends off is wishful thinking for the majority of real estate professionals. Team leaders can refer those prospects to their team members who are anxious to work on weekends.

I just took off in the middle of week. Took a Chicago architectural tour , went for lunch at Heaven on 7 had a big bowl of gumbo, danced in the street while listening to house music and made a video for active rain and then finished up going to lecture with Chicago ideas and heard a female photojournalist talk about her experience in Afghanistan, Libya, Africa. Great day and I recommend it 

I generally work every weekend, I manage to attend most social engagements by scheduling around them if possible. 

Closed weekends and holidays! 

Paul, tsking off in the middle of the week hasn't worked well for me, I prefer not to work on Sundays and that seems to be working much better.

We haven't had a day off since March 1st.

A full day off is rare no matter the day but I keep reading books, articles, etc, that say you must take one day off. So we'll see.

I schedule a weekend about every 3-4 weeks depending on my client base.
