I purchased the RING and it was the BEST purchase I made. I also put one to the side of my garage door to watch my driveway and cars. The crystal clear video and ability to listen and talk through it is great. I did catch video of someone stealing from my neighbor and it worked to catch the guy.

I only had one package taken over two years ago. I am not sure it was actually taken ... I question if it was ever delivered.

      You can set up text alerts with UPS, USPS, and FedEx to track packages that you are expecting.  You need the tracking number.

Thankfully my area is pretty secure and hard to see from the street.  So long as the UPS/Fedex person isn't an idiot and places the package at my door instead of on my driveway, I'm fine.  I'm usually home anyways, so not a big deal.

Packages delivered to doorman who inventories them and puts them in a locked room. When you pick them up, you sign for them. No thefts here!

I you order from Amazon, Walmart, etc... here's what you do. You keep all your boxes. Make sure to open them carefully. Take the new content out and replace it with all the used crap you no longer need, all the stuff to throw away or donate. Sealed the boxes, leave at your front porch and leave as long.... as all gone. And voila, best way to clean up the house.

Thank god I don't have a problem like that in my neighborhood.

No, but we just installed a webcam-type bell to monitor and have one in the driveway as some of the packages are left by the garage doors.

We haven't yet, but I hear stories all the time about packages being stolen. Some people just follow UPS and FedEx trucks around waiting for an opportunity.

So far we have been lucky. We have a retired person in our nieghborhood that patrols regularly and has hidden packages and alerted homeowners to it.

No I have not.

However, I have the BRANDED box in which my Epson printer was shipped. I keep thinking about setting a trap for a porch pirate. To be honest, I just have not made the time yet to have such fun.

The space by my front door has been modified to create secure placement of packages and they can not be seen from the street. However, it does not prevent the trolls from following the UPS truck.

We have not. We don't live in a subdivision, and we work from home so most of the time we are here when packages are delivered. But even when they are left, we are good. So sad that people do this.

Not yet since one of us is usually here. If we are not here, the post office re-delivers the next day and FedEx leaves a notice to pick up at Walgreens. I think both FedEx and UPS apps let you change the delivery time/date if needed but have not checked it out yet.
