Since I do not have a fancy wine room, my red wine is served at room temperature.

I have no idea since I never store any, but I think my priest does since he seems to buy a lot of it, I will ask.

54 Degrees. It was the name of a wine bar in the Mission Inn in Riverside. Supposed to be the temp for wine.
After a couple glasses, I'd imagine the temperature is less of a concern...

room temperature is how my red's are kept; although when I had a wine cellar it was about 60.

I vote with Ron and Alexandra Seigel Thanks.
For white wine I prefer cold, colder, coldest.

There seems to be a variety of answers here and opinions. what is the correct temperature?

Yes. My grampa built a wine cellar under his house in LA and made wine by the gallons . . . we went through it for literally years after he passed. You store it in the 50s for longevity (SHUT THAT DAMN DOOR, KIDS!) . . . but then you warm it with your hands when you drink it. That's why red wine glasses are thicker and rounder at the bottom. If any of this is wrong, it's my aunt's fault. Or my faulty memory. :D

'Room temperature', as opposed to chilled Conrad Allen. If there is a specific temp, then I do not know it . . .
