I am making a heart shaped red velvet cake and he is taking me to a late lunch after church.  I have a card for him too.

    Every day is Valentine's Day for us!   Well, most days. 

    Tomorrow we will go out for lunch, after Church.

tomorrow is going to be 29 below zero.... there's a pellet stove that will be cranking....the wind is already howling outside....I share gifts with all of my family members....

Took my son to the Bellagio. He turns 17 today so we had a fun birthday weekend. 

I had to do a bit of work today, and then I took my dog out to the park for a long run. My boyfriend also had to work today. He'll be back in town tomorrow. We'll celebrate tomorrow evening after he gets home. 

We went to lunch and just hung out, like we normally do.  It was a good day.  :)  

I bought myself a piece of carrot cake, and I will be pigging out on it later! 

I share my vision and my dreams but I try to be romantic also.

We have very cold weather and are staying at home today.

Good morning Rose Mary. Brought home flowers yesterday, will give Gail to beautiful cards this morning.

Rose Mary Justice - I'm in Budapest, Hungary, with my wife for Valentine's Day and the President's Day weekend. We're both permanent residents of the U.S., but have been living temporarily in Rome, Italy, since July 2012. Traveling to other countries in Europe is quite easy.

 Good morning Rose Mary Justice . To me, is just another day in paradise.

Rose Mary Justice well, it will be a busy day 'at work'!

Better yet, I will be sharing the day with her.

We did tonight with a bottle of champagne.

I will be working side by side with the love of my life.

We've got a fun date night planned.  A gift, yes.  But I spend a summer in my teens at an un-air conditioned Hallmark Card factory, gluing bows and feathers onto Valentine's cards.  So I just can't do it with cards.

Couples massages and a sunset picnic at the beach.

We have famiky dinner planned Sunday evening.  Hugs galore.

I wait until the 15th to buy a gift ...50-90% off and my Valentine is just fine with that.

I was supposed to be off, it's not going to work out that way.

No. I do not.  I feel VD is an over-rated celebration of love that needs to be celebrated every day as a way of life and not just on VD.
