I like a variety of homes my favorites are the ranch style and beach house on stilts.

We like so many styles, it is hard to say.  The only one we like and would not want to live in is a Victorian.  A

International style. I also like what some of the Japanese architects have done with a mash up of Japanese tea ceremony, Danish, and a bit of frank Lloyd Wright on the interiors.

I prefer single story living.

Our best quality of life was when we had a 9th floor cooperative with an ocean view.

Expanded Ranch.

Remote on a distant uncharted island accessible only by plane. Thank you, Mr. Roarke.

I like a good old farm house with a wrap around porch. Inside I would want cathedral ceilings and large rooms with great insulation and heat/ac units that will be energy efficient.

To live in mid-century modern but love prairie style, Victorian and old true Mediterraneans.

I like contemportary and traditional styles. French country is very appealing too.

I've lived in a lot of homes and about every style except geodesic and the Split-level home we had was by far my favorite Jack Lewitz

Colonial

My first thought was Free and clear so had to chuckle at the comments. I actually like several styles of homes and could be happy with several of them..I have to admit I'm not partial to Victorian and definitely prefer a single story open concept home.

I like all  styles. I like well maintained homes.

I like "Newer" better than an Oldie but Goodie...

 One that keeps the brain and other elements out. Also, one that is paid for.

I like cottages with porches.

I like craftsman homes.

I prefer an all brick transitional with a fire pit and or water feature.

I like the looks of 2 story colonial homes, but for me, I prefer a ranch with a basement.

Colonial, like Thomas Jefferson's place is is by and large my absolute favorite for two story homes.  I find it just the sexiest style of home.  There are a few of these in my neighborhood.  For 4th of July they put those semi-circle flags/banners from their second story balconies and it looks so good.

For single story, I prefer ranch style.

What a fun question, Jack Lewitz!  Southwestern style with arches and Sautillo Tile on the floors, as we live in the desert!  When we lived in CA, I loved the Tudor style!
