Actually I often stay late at my office because I can get SO much done after everyone else leaves for the day.

I hardly ever leave the office, but then I have always made sure the family spends plenty of time here too.

Same as the rest here, I work till I'm done with that which needs to be done. But that doesn't have to be at any of my offices. I can work on the beach just fine. One of my clients is in France right now and we have a tricky negotiation. So he calls me at night. No problem. Wouldn't like it all the time, but certainly when necessary.

Hi Paul -- I don't have any self-imposed limits but like you, the less time in the office typically means I'm being more productive.  

I put no limitations on myself either way. I go and do what needs doing and if I can take it home or do it tomorrow because it is getting late I will. When I owned my own company I worked many nights up until 10 or 11 because I needed to.

I don't leave the office until all of my work is done....I get an early start, and I never need to leave late.... I clean the slate every day.

Setting limits on time spent at the office is wishful thinking for many busy real estate professionals.

No I didn't and don't now that the office is in my basement.

I have tried to set limits and once I do, something happens to keep me there longer. It's kind of like planning to take a vacation and all heck breaks lose as you are packing your bag getting ready to leave.

My rule was when working work...When done, move on.

i think i go at it until i am no longer productive. i like to take a break and move to something different , like filing or doing a floor plan. to refresh my brain on something easier. and i agree early or late working , alone, is most productive. for me

No limits for me.  In fact, I prefer the office and appreciate it when my team can be free to meet and mingle with their customers.

I am there as needed.

Depends if I'm on a roll with something or have important things to do. No set time limit.

I don't go to an office, my brokerage is in my house. Many of my investors live in California with a two hour time difference so I have to accept that I will be taking calls until 7:00. I try to get them to call earlier but you go with your flow.

 Good Sunday morning Paul. Yes, I do set limits as to how much time I spend in the office. I do have to agree with you.

I don't, but I also don't have a wife or kids.  If I did, I would limit my time to be sure to spend quality time with them each day, too.
