    More About Tani Godfrey I grew up in the East Hill area of Pensacola and graduated from the University of West Florida with a degree in psychology and a minor in math.  During high school and college, I was a waitress in my family's seafood restaurant (the Marina Oyster Barn). That one job taught me a lot about being attentive, industrious and patient.  I moved away from Pensacola after college and lived in Dallas, Chicago and Atlanta for 19 years.  In Dallas, I was an accountant for ten years for an advertising agency. I moved back to this area in 1999, in order to be near my parents again.  I enjoy playing golf (when time permits), bowling,  sports, playing the piano and singing in my church choir.  I am a single mom with two daughters and believe that real estate allows me to balance my time between both.  I have been selling real estate since 2001. In 2012, I bought Pennacle Properties and am now the broker/owner. In 2011, I was awarded "Realtor of the Year" for the Pensacola Women's Council of Realtors.  My philosophy is to treat people the way that I would want to be treated. I thoroughly enjoy the whole contract procedure and do my best to keep my clients informed during the entire process. I believe that knowledge is power.  Knowing what things are most important to each buyer and seller is the only way to do business.  I am not a high volume listing agent.  I enjoy being involved in all aspects of the transaction, whether it be the buyer or seller side (or both).
