Robert Farquhar Is a real estate professional originally born in Miami Florida. In 2011 both my amazing parents went into retirement and decided to move to the Jacksonville area. My family is very important to me, so not wanting to be away from them as they grow older I decided to move here myself in 2014 . Growing up as a kid in a large family seven of us all together, I was taught that whatever you wind up doing in life you need to work hard at it to be the best you can be. To never give up just because it gets hard. A philosophy I've carried with me in everything I do, real estate being no different! At the age of 13 I was taught the definition of hard work when I took a job working with my father was electrical company where I Iearned the hard way that attics and basements were not the most fun a kid could have during the summers, especially with the beach practically in my backyard. At the beginning of my senior year of high school, I became enamored with the game of golf. Luckily for me for the last 10 years I've been able to make a living for myself in the golf industry, working as a professional caddie. Talk about hard work! nothing like carrying 2 golf bags full of equipment for sometimes up to 12 hours a day over several miles. Makes electrical work and attics seem like a walk in the park. It's a profession where you learn to figure out and understand the thought process of people you first meet, and invent a formula where you can create a positive memorable experience throughout the entire round together.
