Nina Kurtz, of Compass Malibu, honed her top-notch negotiation skills in the world of TV and Film Marketing and Distribution and working with attorneys in contract law. This skillset, paired with her love of travel, architecture, and design helped this longtime local resident become one of Sotheby’s International Realty – Malibu Brokerages’ top ten agents in 2018.

Nina has successfully served clients all around Los Angeles but specializes in the neighborhoods of Malibu, Topanga Canyon, Calabasas, Agoura, and Westlake Village. She has seen these neighborhoods evolve over the years firsthand after moving to Westlake Village during her childhood. Her wealth of knowledge about the area has provided her with an innate ability in finding homes that marry her clients’ financial and lifestyle goals for over a decade in real estate.

As a passionate advocate for music education, Nina is a regular volunteer with Rock n’ Roll Camp For Girls, Los Angeles – a humanitarian personal value she says was instilled by her grandmother, who founded a non-profit for the underprivileged population of the San Fernando Valley in the 1980s. She also enjoys spending her spare time connecting with nature, playing music, spending time with her family and dogs, and most recently, embarking on a vintage restoration of her newly purchased 1950’s home.
