Get to Know Larry Seiler
Today's real estate market is an ever changing ocean of short sales and foreclosures, new home buyers, investors and banks. I have been an agent for all of these. I understand our market and can react to this changing environment as needed. I work exactly how I expect others to work; I answer my phone, I use new technology (like activerain) to get deals closed quickly, I maintain contact so that everyone knows what the status is, I am a straight shooter.
A bank in Northern California asked me to sell a foreclosed piece of land for them. I had to deal with locked gates to get to the property and somebody had planted apple trees on it! I was able to sell it within 60 days, the bank was happy.
One of my favorite things to do is to deliver keys to a new home buyer. Maybe I have been showing them homes for weeks, maybe a short sale got approved, when we sign final papers and they are given the keys - I feel like Santa Claus.
Two hard working young men came to me not knowing if they could afford anything. They had never spoken to a lender and needed to know how to do that. I helped them find a lender, get qualified for a FHA loan and began showing them homes. Being first time home buyers I guided them through every step - purchase agreements, getting inspections, disclosures, market data, insurance, taxes, utilities, title, escrow and everything in between. Giving them the keys to their first home was a great experience.
