Well, this corner retail space in the Rancho Bernardo Town Center used to be occupied by a "Baskin Robbins" and after that "Baja Fresh" took a try at this location, but those food concepts were nothing new. Rancho Bernardo residents have a mature palate, and they know what’s healthy and different. I would have to guess many have dined in the finest of places.  So, needless to say it was a pleasant dining experience to find “The Kebab Shop” opened for business in Rancho Bernado; according to their website, they have 6 locations in San Diego county now. Ouch, brutal day yesterday for mortgage rates!  Tuesday completed with a 55 basis point loss, which prompted most Lenders across the country to post mid-day pricing adjustments between 0.375 - 0.500 "worse" across the board.  WEaker than expected industrial data has lifted Mortgage Backed Securities this morning, which has slightly helped recover some of yesterday's losses (although we have loss some of those gains already late morning). Regardless of whether you have kids that attend the schools, just being in the boundaries of an award-winning school district, makes property values appreciate faster than in other areas. When I was growing up, food seemed so much simpler; I guess because our environment was different. It seems nowadays when we order food in a restaurant, there are variations for everyone.
