There are times when it's wise to SHIFT and go another direction. That is a positive position to take. Hanging on to something that's clearly not working out so great is stupid.

I will never give up on what I believe in.

I will not resign to evil, complacency, corruption, lies, or stupidity. 

I will fight with every ounce of my soul with grace & dignity to defend my God-Given Rights. 

If that does not work, kicking some ass and taking names still works! 

I do choose my battles wisely. My energy is a valuable resource. 

Synonyms of resign ... abandon, reliinquish, surrender, waive and/or yield.  In other words "to give up completely!" 

Instead ... 2023 will be "Seize the Day!" -- or claim, defend, protect and/or confiscate!

I'm a believer in resignation (or give-up), especially if resignation means gain! Obviously not into surrendering the most important things.

I may shift but, I'll never quit! No resolution needed for that! ;-) 

3. Go with the flow of the intent you have already set, taking the action steps to get there and allowing time and space for serendipities . . .

SOMETIMES, correcting course DOES entail a resignation from THAT particular path . . . there is no failure or regret as long as you remain aligned with the goal! 

Some folks try too hard and end up in their own way.

Agreed, Richie. One must move towards the goals of success, satisfaction and fulfillment and not in the opposite direction

I have been told that I have a tenacious spirit, so never give up is usually the cry! But then you also must know when to shift your position (as Anna Banana says) to get the job done.

Setbacks and work arounds...they show what you are made of and how easily you cave in or rise above. Work harder, smarter and more determined than other real estate agents or brokers in your market wished you did not Richie Alan Naggar . Now get out there and pull down more listings, greater market share Tiger. These are the best of times if you know how to approach the challenge.
