When you asked six months ago... the market wasn't crashing.  We were right.

Even today, while the market is declining (a bear market), it's far from crashing Ms. Little.  The stock market is cyclical, and if you can't handle the ups and downs, you shouldn't be in the market.

A- it wasn't crashing in January, the record high was January 22nd.  B- it's not "crashing" now, it's having a bit of a correction.  But unless I sell I haven't lost anything.  And I'm not selling in a correction.  But it is a good time to buy.

Lol it was 6 months ago and many rode a wave further up - we're in a bear market which was SUPER easy to predict.  The stock market hasn't crashed, it's declined into correction/bear territory.  But it was really, really easy to see coming, and I'd note it's also easier to 'call' the high when you're at the tail end of a record long bull market.

That is the magic of being a skeptic, if you wait long enough everything does come to pass.
I will project gas prices will come down and agent compensation will average in the same direction as 1.3 million realtors try to stir up something.
What rattles me most is all the laughter coming from those EV as they roll past the gas station. Another $100 in the tank.

That being said I don't believe the stock market is "crashing." It's just correcting.

You might want to check out the charts year to date for the Dow, Nasdaq & S&P 500.  You'll notice a steady dip over the past six months.

I had many friends warn me to get out of the stock market with the new administration.  I did not listen, but wish I had listened.  It is ugly.  I laugh uncomfortably every time the experts talk about a "soft landing."  All I see is a sea of red.
