I use Supra for every property... how else do you capture information on who's been inside? Even more important, I would think, to keep in control that way on a vacant property. I don't own but two combo boxes (typically for contractors who might need entry).

Supra.  If I cannot afford a nice sign and a Supra for all my listing then I don't need to be taking that listing.

Do you mean a Supra electronic box as opposed to a non electronic contractor box? When we list REO or properties that non-members have to access, often both.

Our MLS requires an iBox UNLESS the seller expressly ops out of having one.  I would recommend an iBox - its a great way to track activity.

Vacant or occupied, I prefer using the Supra.

However, I have used both simultaneously or when under contract, remove supra and install combo. Now why would I do that?

Supra for me so it's recorded who is in and out.  Supra will record the date and time a person open the ibox blue in case if we need to refer back to it in the future.

Supra. You can track who accesses when, which allows you to do follow up, track any issues that may happen. I use the combo box strictly for contractors who don't have Supra Access.

Supra because I want to know who is showing it, when they show it and how long they were there.  Plus, a combo can be given out or used for secret rendevous.

We had switched from Supra to SentriLock boxes... though to answer your question, I still use the SentriLock boxes whether the home is occupied or empty.  I get more information available to me this way. (would be same with the Supra)

I don't like the combo boxes (unless absolutely no other choice) as they don't provide the security to the property and there is an issue of many agents who don't take the effort to zero the tumblers... many times making it an easy guess to open the lock. (as well as other reasons)

Supra whenever possible. I want to know exactly who has gone in and out (if it's a "go and show" sometimes agents won't even schedule a showing and just go) - and exactly how long they'd stayed there too. Has yet to fail me that the longer the showing, the more likely it is to turn into an offer.
