Thomas was born in Glenview but moved to Winnetka at age 2 and lived there for 20 years. Thomas attended Crow Island, Skokie School, Washburne Jr High, and New Trier High School. He was very active in sports growing up and still finds enjoyment in Golfing, biking, fishing, and swimming. He volunteers at the Highland Park Park District to study the reintroduction of Trout to the Ravines. He also enjoys attending pop concerts at the Ravinia Festival with family and friends. Thomas is married with two children, a son and a daughter and they live in Highland Park.

Although Thomas works throughout the North and Northwest Chicago region, his specific areas of expertise include, Winnetka, Wilmette, Kenilworth, Glencoe, Evanston, Northfield, and Highland Park. As a lifelong resident of Illinois living on the North Shore, Thomas has a great understanding of the areas beautiful and unique homes. Thomas prides himself on the ability to educate his clients throughout the entire process of buying and selling a home. For over 17 years Thomas has obtained an extensive technical background in the IT industry. The last 12 years he was a Network Engineer with fortune 100 consulting company Ernest and Young then Capgemini. Thomas leverages that knowledge using the most current technologies to effectively and efficiently market homes and to communicate with buyers and sellers for more pleasurable experience. Working with a wide range of vendors gave him the ability to work with anyone to "Get the job done". Thomas bases his business and life on the principles of integrity, high standards, and perseverance combined with a straightforward approach.
