My family was transferred to Western North Carolina in 1996 after moving every few years starting in Dallas, Tx to Tyler, Katy, Houston, San Antonio then to Minneapolis, MN. This is the longest we lived anywhere and that is because the Greater Hickory Metro is a beautiful area with the best weather. And I've seen a lot of weather in my day!
