I am an Enrolled Agent, a former State of Washington Revenue Agent, and the owner of Mathis Tax Service.
 
Over 15 years, I built a successful tax practice that served approximately 1,200 clients annually. After selling that practice, I started Mathis Tax Service with a more specialized focus: helping individuals resolve IRS and state tax problems.
 
Today, I represent individuals before the IRS and help clients address unfiled tax returns, IRS notices, tax debt, federal tax liens, levies, penalties, and other collection matters.
 
I also serve as a tax resolution resource for real estate professionals. Real estate agents and mortgage professionals are often among the first to discover that a client has unfiled returns, IRS debt, or a federal tax lien that could interfere with buying, selling, or financing a home.
 
When that happens, the client may feel overwhelmed and have no idea where to begin. I help determine what has been filed, what is still missing, how much is owed, and which resolution options may be available.
