I like to talk with my clients not only about their purchase or refinance but what their goals are for their property and money. This way I can put together a loan for them that is going to fit their needs. Sometimes this way I can present them with options they never considered or even knew existed! I like to make sure that people know what process and procedures are so that they are not just signing paperwork to get the deal done but actually know what it is they are signing.
I build my business on treating my clients right so that they refer their friends and family to me rather than trying to make every penny I can off every client and have them be a one time deal.
I also make it a point to be available on my clients time and my my cell phone available so that they can not only call me during normal "bankers hours" but whe ever it's convenient for them including late into the evenings, early in the mornings or on the weekends.
Being a wholesale broker I have many lenders available which gives me a very diverse range of capable loans. I can do just about anything from low credit borrowers with a single wide manufactured home to 800+ credit score borrowers with mulit million dollar homes. With the recent sub-prime crash I've started focusing on FHA loans including manufactured home and low or now down payment purchases. The FHA programs are very beneficial to my clients as they open up a lot of options that they normally wouldn't be able to have with conventional lending and the interest rates are nearly the same as conforming rates!
