Since starting in Real Estate over 20 years ago, Debbie’s goal has always been to provide each client with superior customer service, to truly care for those she serves, and to be their best real estate resource for life. She understands that this one experience will have a greater impact on personal finances and future than almost any other experience in life.
Debbie has maintained an active license since 1998 and was an agent with Coldwell Banker till 2008, where she was one of the top sales agents in the office. In 2008, Debbie found her niche in the real estate department for the power company acquiring utility easements and working on encroachment issues. From there she moved into the Project Management Group, where she managed substation and transmission projects. She is a certified Project Management Professional. Debbie was promoted to Regional Business Manager, where she was a liaison for large commercial customers and local cities. “I loved working for the power company and serving our customers.”
In a Certified Energy Management class in Raleigh, Debbie met the love of her life, Chris. They dated long distance for two years and were married in 2017 on Emerald Isle. This area is now their home. Her husband Chris often says “My little giant can run with the big dogs and cuddle with the kittens”
While Debbie loved working for the power company, she missed working with home buyers and sellers. Marketing and staging homes is still her passion. The knowledge she gained in the utility industry is an immense benefit to her clients. Her main intention is to understand her client’s needs and build a relationship that will last over the course of time. When orchestrating deals for her buyers and sellers, Debbie is assertive and effective without being too aggressive. While she is a strong negotiator and advocate for her clients, she is just as much a compassionate, friendly, humorous partner who eases a process that can often be quite stressful.
