web Broker: Palm City Home & Equestrian with Carol |
Carol is a University of Alabama grad with a BS degree in Commerce. After college Carol joined her family's business and was active in management for several years. Carol resided in Mountain Brook, Alabama with her family. She became interested in Birmingham's Ballet and worked in fund raising events. After the family business went public and was later sold to an international company, Carol created & managed her Mountain Brook Interior Design Firm for several years. She fell in love with Florida while visiting her parents while they wintered in Key Biscayne, Florida. Florida became a second home to Carol for several years until she decided to make it her primary residence in 1989. A move to Hutchinson Island was her first introduction to real estate. Carol studied and received her sales licenses and started to work in luxury waterfront properties. While enjoying the beach and her real estate profession, she became restless and decided to look for more adventure. Carol preferred an Old Florida lifestyle of living rather than the hustle of the city but did not want to be to far from the city. Palm City had what she wanted and gave her Town and Country Living. Carol's real estate profession goes back to early 1993.
Carol became interested in an equestrian lifestyle in early 1996. She purchased farm land in Palm City Farms and, along with her husband, built an equestrian breeding farm for Warm bloods. After the construction of the equestrian farm, Carol acquired her Tennessee Broker's licenses and formed, Carol Barron-Cross Realty, in 2008. Carol continued her work in Florida Homes and Equestrian.Later she was asked to sell one of Palm Citys most pristine equestrian facilities, Quail Hollow Farms. She used her technology, negotiating and marketing skills to find the buyer for this large estate. In 2009, Carol brought her buyers to her sellers for a bilateral contract. This was Palm City's highest sale for the year. January of 2011, Carol became Owner/Broker of Sunflower Homes & Equestrian, LLC in Palm City. Before long Carol found herself into the upper percentage of sales in her area. Carol allows her heart to direct her in her real estate profession. She laughs about her style. "I am an open book. What you see is what you get". Hard smart work goes into her routine. She is constantly upgrading technology and moving with the rapid pace of change in the real estate business. Specializing in homes, country life, equestrian properties and beautiful waterfront properties just comes natural. "It takes one to know one." Equestrian living is a little different. The requirement are much different. Selling homes is a natural skill for Carol. Carol has been very fortunate to be recognized for her work in equestrian properties and home sales. She knows her business. "I love what I do. I do what I know best. I do not mind working extra. My success is my client's success. "I have a simple company theme. "I deal with people the way I would like those to deal with me." Good ethics and honesty is high on Carol's list. Find me on Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin,
PALM CITYS HORSE TALK is a blog that I start several years ago that includes neighborhood information about Palm City, Florida events. I often blog about our equestrian farms, my listings, and different areas surrounding Palm City.
It is true, the move to Palm City was the correct move for me. "As a child growing up, I always loved "Town and Country" magazine. I loved the lifestyle concept and had a great desire to live that lifestyle". Other than just being fantastically happy in Palm City, it opened up a new side of me. My appreciation for those that love the sport of dressage, jumping, barrel racing or just have horses for pets became very close. I realized there was a niche for me because it really was what I was all about. I appreciate all breeds and respected those that gave their heart and sole to the love of their horses. I loved the dogs that came with our barn and friends barn. Our equestrian farm brought so much love and energy to out family. It has blessed us with happiness and love. I highly recommend the lifestyle. I have lived in many places but I truly can say that this is the best move I ever made. I have twitched horses while they were being bred, bought and sold stock, etc and found that I was rapidly becoming extremely knowledgeable of the equine world. My business experience is strong when it comes to negotiating short sales and dealing with banks. I am a Certified Short Sale Specialist but my heart aches when a farm is lost through economic conditions. I structured my real estate company to focused on Homes, Equestrian properties, Training facilities, small country estates, Estates, Farms , & Waterfront properties in Martin County, Okeechobee, Saint Lucie, Manatee, & Palm Beach. I can handle these properties with assurance that I will be able to protect by client and serve them well.
Agricultural tax exemptions are available from Martin County, plus homestead exemption, if your declare your permanent residence here. It is an everyday experience in Palm City Farms to hear and see beautiful Sand Hill cranes fly over the lakes and paddocks. We have friendly wildlife, trails, sounds of horses running in their paddocks, beautiful cross fencing, green grass, blue skies, Old Florida beauty plus we have our City of Palm City and Stuart. I love meeting everyday's challenge and love helping others. I work to service those that desire to live in this great little town of Palm City, Florida.
