Brokers were told to stop evictions, cash-for-key transactions and lockouts, regardless of occupant type, with immediate effect, according to the document, addressed to GMAC preferred agents. The company will also suspend sales of properties on which it has already foreclosed. The letter tells brokers to notify buyers that the company will extend the closing date on all sales by 30 days. North Las Vegas Home Sales: Average and Median Prices Homes in North Las Vegas saw average selling prices fall 0.67% in July. The median selling price was nearly even, moving from $130,000 to $129,900. So far in 2010, the average selling price for North Las Vegas homes is up 2.00%, while the median selling price has risen 1.48%. Housing Wire reports:  Foreclosure filings in August fell 5% from a year ago, the third straight month of declines, according to RealtyTrac, an online foreclosure marketplace. James Saccacio, CEO of RealtyTrac, said default notices and bank repossessions were nearly equal in August, an indication that lenders are carefully managing the clogged foreclosure pipeline.
