We have been experiencing warmer than usual, weather for this time of year.  The weatherman tonight, reported that a cold front is coming on Thursday.  When we have those cold nights, the leaves will begin to turn more quickly.  Today, I noticed that it is just beginning.  Just a start to the beauty of the changing colors of our leaves. Notice the slight gold color starting on the middle tree.  Some areas have more color than others.  This location is in Glastonbury, Connecticut, near the eastern side of town, by Diamond Lake.

You know the saying, if you can't beat them, you might as well join them!   Well, today, that little phrase rang true for us.  This morning we had, what they called a snow flurry.  Four to six inches, later, it's still snowing.  It has been so cold, that under the snow, the roads are still iced over.  The temperature rose to twenty one degrees this morning, which the weather reporters, thought was really good.  Okay, we'll go with that. The plows came and went, in the morning.  The more cars that went by, the better the road was looking.  Still needed four wheel drive, though, because we did see some cars losing it on the hill.  School bus did fine, though, when those lights started flashing, some vehicles, from the opposite direction, couldn't stop.  We have a perfect view of the road ...

Did you ever notice that you find a good listing, priced below market, and think that it is a true bargain?  Only to have a client want to take another $20,000 off the price?  Well, yes it happens.  More now, than, ever. What would you do? I remove my feelings and head from the idea, immediately.  After all, the true market value is what the buyer is willing to pay and what the seller is willing to accept.  By keeping that thought in mind, you can save yourself time and aggravation.  You will sell more homes.  Both your buyer and/or seller will be happier, too. Once the appraiser comes by and gives it his, or her, stamp of approval, the deal is all set to close.  Don't  speed up, on the curve in the road. Take it slow and easy.                                                            ...

In Connecticut, the sun is shining today.  Really good for melting all that snow, that has made most roads, impossible to drive on.  Certainly, the visual part of driving has been at risk, due to the huge snow mounds. Today, I have an appointment for a new listing. I am excited to meet this couple because after talking with them, I can feel that they really love their present home.  Always a good sign.  I, also, have some buyer showings.  Yesterday, I drove around to make sure that we would be able to access the homes that are on our list.  It sure is a different way of working when we are in the winter season.                                                                                                 Planning out the rest of my week, around the weather reports.  Snow on Tuesday, 40...
