You Never Know What you Might Find...Serendipity SundayWhen I'm out and about, it's a rare occasion that I don't have my camera with me. It's usually on the front seat next to me. You never know what kind of situation you might run across that deserves a picture. I snapped this one on the fly. When I looked at it later...I really liked the simplicity of it and the contract with the green grass and white snow. Some of my favorite pictures are taken when the seasons cross over. Fall into winter and winter into spring. I thought I would share this picture with everyone. We are past the middle of May, but Mother Nature still thinks it's March. Fall Colors and Snow...A Great Grand Mesa Drive Cedaredge has gotten quite a bit of rain over the last few days. At this time of the year, that usually means there's snow up on Grand Mesa. It started snowing on the mesa sometime around Sunday night. The rain was really coming down in Cedaredge this morning, so I decided to get an early taste of winter and take a drive up on Grand Mesa. I wasn't disappointed. This early in the season, my objective is to get some pictures of the fall colors with the snow. As of this morning, the snowline was down to about where you catch the Old Grand Mesa Road off of Highway 65.   Peak color season is past, but there was still enough color to make picture taking fun. The rain and snow have knocked down a lot of the leaves, but some are still hanging on. ...
