Participation was lowest among Baby Boomers (born 1946-1964) at just 26 percent. While certain payment plans with standard timelines are usually free of interest when using BNPL, postponing ...

This is an excellent post with great information. Thanks for sharing it.Have a super fantastic week!Joe Jackson, Realtor-KWCP Throughout Women’s History Month, we reflect on the impact women have in our lives, and that includes impact on the housing market. In fact, since at least 1981, single women have bought more homes than single men each year, and they make up 17% of all households. Why Is Homeownership So Important to Women? The rise in women pursuing homeownership hasn’t just made an impact on the housing market. It’s also been an asset for those buyers and their households. That’s because homeownership has many benefits, both financial and personal. On the financial side, housing proves to be the key to building wealth for single women. CHARLOTTE REGION FEBRUARY 2023 REAL ESTATE REPORTWHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW...WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU... February 2023 home sales were down year-over-year for a 14th consecutive month. Pending sales were also down year-over-year for a 14th consecutive month. Sales are happening, but not at the volume we experienced in 2021 and the first half of 2022. Higher home prices coupled with increasing interest rates have impacted affordability and continue to cool buyer demand.  Sales are still occurring... just not at the pace of the last couple of years. Furthermore, the fact that we also see fewer new listings coming on the market indicates Charlotte region will continue to experience inventory challenges, which impact home price appreciation. Home buyers are frustrated by higher rates, rising home ...

Spring is a time of refocusing, gaining refreshed mindsets, and appreciating the little things, which prove to be some of the biggest things. One of my clients moved about 45 minutes away and love the home we closed on last October. This hallmark worthy photo she sent to me of their precious fur baby reveling in the blue bonnets, is enjoying one of life’s greatest joys....spring.

Tuesdays Treasures…New Residents You snooze, you lose…at least that’s what I told our former tenants, Mr. & Mrs. Bluebird. The bluebirds have been our residents for several years but decided to move next door, even though they still dine at Casa Streib.  We were excited when  Carolina Chickadees decided to build their home in our bird box.  Ever the tinkerer, Larry put a small hole in the top of the box and inserted the camera he uses when working on the cars.                                                                                       I’m still learning about the Carolina Chickadee but they’re so much fun to see and hear. We did notice that Mama moves the eggs around a lot! We hope to get photos when they hatch and again when they fledge!!!

Before I write about American Legion Post 347, the largest post in the world I want those not familiar with the area to understand the geography of Lady Lake.  Lady Lake founded as a railroad town in 1887 and is where The Villages began in the 1980’s as Orange Blossom Gardens a small mobile home park.  Today a section of The Villages is located in Lady Lake and the 32159 zip code can be either Lady Lake or The Villages, it all has to do with the postal service as part of Sumter County uses the Lady Lake post office.  If you see a Lady Lake address it might be in The Villages with all the same amenities, not sure just ask me!Located less than a mile from The Villages in Lady Lake is American Legion Post 347 the largest post in the world with over 7,000 members.  I could fill a page of th...
