Yes, depends on the platform.  Instagram, FB and Pinterest all have more appropriate times.  The pic below was posted a couple years ago by Thomas J. Nelson, Realtor, ePRO, CRS, RCS-D and it does a good job of explaining it.

For AR the best times for comments are earlier in the morning, but who knows when the public will see it.  I've had 8 month old blogs viewed and lead to upcalls.

If you're writing an evergreen post to the public, the answer is YESTERDAY.  Just get it out there and let it get to work.

Personally, I think the value of the content is more important than timing. The content is always there no matter when it's convenient for people to read it. The answer for social media is probably different.  I don't consider a blog social media, even though you want interaction.

Blogs are a long term investment.  It's necessary to build an archive. 

Not late at night. That happens to be when most of my posts go out because of my time and schedule and they get far less activity on them than, say, mid-morning. I agree with Fred Griffin. -Kasey 

When people are sitting at their computer:

Breakfast time.   

Break times (10AM and 3PM).   

Lunch time (Noon)

Dinner time 6:00PM

Agree, the best - 3 times a day.

What is the goal Dave Martin (703) 585-4687 ? If you want the most AR members commenting it's early morning. If you want the most possible prospects for your services it's all in the way you promote your posts.

I always post in the morning. It's hit or miss honestly. I never post on the weekends as it's mostly ignored.

I wish we knew.

Most of my AR posts are either early morning or late evening. Traffic and comments vary due to time zones and sometimes dribble in over a week or more so it's like trying to hit a moving target.

I don't really worry about time of day or day of week, I have gotten calls and business off posts (evergreen) that I wrote 6-7 years ago.

I know we're supposed to post at certain times but, I post when I have time!

Sometimes I will schedule posts for those high-volume times but, my data is not like others' so, I follow only my data, not that of anyone else.

For instance, my most visited time on my website is 10PM - 1AM! Several people with whom I work in a national marketing group have shared that their 'big' time on their WP sites are just after dinner and some during lunch. It's all what you find in your own reports that you should go by.

I've seen some of the different charts etc.. that specify times that are best to post... I'm sure there are some accuracy to them, however I think that as long as you make the blog posts, no matter what time you do them, you'll be ahead of 80% of the agents out there...

4 pm for me.  I know when the most of my traffic hits my site and it's between 4 and 11 pm with the highest point around 8 to 9 pm typically.  Follow your site back end analytics 

Personally, I've never seen any difference even when following the "rules." I post when I have time. 

Most important thing is to actually Publish them, most people spend lots of time thinking about it and never do it so those who just publish them whenever have an advantage.

When I can get it done.  It is that simple. Anything beyond that is just overthinking, IMHO.  I overthink enough other things. Thank goodness when to post a blog is not among them.

I like Thursdays and Fridays for my open houses.  I figure most people will see them while they're at work!
