Target non-descriminating lifestyle interests instead of income, likely-to move, etc. Examples would be swimming if there's a pool and golf if the home is on a golf course. Then, track visitors to your website and retarget them via Google. We started the shift as soon as they made the announcement and our quality of leads have not gone down.

I'll probably end up spending my fb marketing money on boosting posts to my followers and to people who have visited my page/liked my past posts that were targeted. Hopefully, some of the categories will prevail. I really like being able to not send ads to other realtors and I hope this will still be an option.
In the future, I think FB ads will be used to remind the sphere I'm here rather than to acquire new business.

I do have a Plan B.
However, FB, in my opinion remains the only advertising an agent needs to purchase.
I further suspect that a 100 BILLION Dollar lose in value will shake things up.
My concern is how that 'shake-up' will effect advertisers. Regarding the change is FB rules, whatever those changes are, we will abide or find ways to circumvent...in other words, business as usual.

Yes, those targeting options being removed are ones they got from third parties and that they got busted for in the Cambridge Analytics issue. I've already removed most of mine and am targeting interests more than anything else.
