You should always, always, own your own website, a wordpress website, with blog page, about page, contact page, legal pages, reviews page, home page, and niche keyword pages, with a powerful IDX. There are no exceptions. 

If you buy a templated site from a company where you pay a fee each month and if you leave them, you lose all you paid for and built to that point. It is not fun. 

Don't get married to those sites! 

      Not familiar with IHouse.  Ther site looks nice and clean, but I would read the fine print regarding the monthly fee.  What exactly am I getting?  Is that fee guaranteed, or is it subject to increase?

Jean we have a wordpress site. I have heard good and not so good about ihouse.

I remember the name & reviewing it long ago. There were a few that I couldn't use because they didn't connect to my MLS. Be sure to check that before you commit.

Went to the site & I remembered, not enough bang for your buck.

Have not used this one, I have placester and it works well in most ways but I am not yet happy with the search function.

I think one of my friends had this site once, and was not happy.

I had House in 2000 and had good luck with leads from them,  but let leads in last 3 years.  Nestor & Katerina Gasset would be great people to call on this subject.

I'm not a fan of cookie cutter theme websites.

I recenly cancelled mine.  I was getting so many spammers that they would tell me were new leads.  It was a mess.  Their product is great, but got tireed of dealing with these creeps that kept spamming me.

I do not ever r3commend a canned cookie cutter website from any provider. Get your own WordPress site ... own it and make it rank!  Call Corinne Guest, Managing Broker for help. 

I am familiar with them - I do not recommend them to anyone - they are cookie cutter sites meaning every site has virtually the same content

I've used IHouse for a long time. If you do their elite product their customer service support is awesome.

I have not heard of ihouse. I am getting great results from mine through Market Leader.

I just dropped IHouse but all in all I think they were very good Jean Stevenson . I dropped them because I wanted to work with a local boy who does a great job (you can see it at minothome.com)

I went from homes.com to Ihouse...Not real thrilled although I am not a great tech guy, but thinking of going back to Homes.com...it was easier to use.

I would shop around some more before you decide to go with ihouse.
