I'm actually surprised there are nor not more than 35* of households who own dogs. I would have thought well over 50%.

Wow - I was thinking 65% of households had dogs - boy, was I off Jack Lewitz!  Our dogs never were attracted to shoes, so I cannot guestimate that answer.  

I actually did know that stat.  But, I don't know the 2nd one.  I've had plenty of shoes disappear during appointments w/ my customers who have dogs (as I take my shoes off).
