I also skip students questions that are asked again and again. 

I avoid the "dumber and dumber" questions. There have been an increasing number of those in recent months. 

Tony Lewis if I know nothing about the topic, I avoid answering. At times, I stop by to learn something from other answers, though - and do admit that I was there to check other responses.

Tony Lewis I avoid legal questions.

I don't like the anonymous questions either, but every so often there's a gem in there that I do answer. Pictures depends on who's asking and what.

What I don't answer are broad, general questions that aren't questions, but topics for an entire blog post. I'm not writing that post for the person asking the question.

I don't answer questions asked by the anonymous. If they don't make sense I don't respond.

As we all know an old timer AR user CAN post a  question as Anonymous. There are legitimate reasons to do so.

The questions I avoid answering are those with over 25 responses already. This question now has 26 responses.

Everything else is fair game, even the "What is  most difficult about a career in real estate?"

I wont answer anonymous or questions where the person cant take the time to add a picture.

Legal, Tax, Religion, Sexual orientation, Racial, Political.

I have an extensive criteria list in order to decide whether I will or will not answer a question.

Politics unless I just can't resist.

I skip the anonymous/no picture/utah student/professor questions unless I have a good snarky response.

I'll skip questions I don't know the answer to or can't contribute to.

I don't mind public ones, but the "what's your safety measures" I won't discuss specifics on a public question.

Thanks Tony and Suzanne Marriott, Associate Brokers for the mention and you're right --- it does depend.  

I believe Roger D. Mucci does not answer feline questions but loves a discussion about points, pies, puppies, photography, Pintos and philately.  

As far as Dick Greenberg he asks questions for friends --- not sure  about answers --- as Roger has told me he misses seeing Dick in this section -- Dick Greenberg, of course. 

I avoid questions where I either do not know the answer, meaning a real estate question that I have no experience in yet, or that I feel I cannot contribute anything positive to Tony Lewis.  Which doesn't mean that I may not disagree, though I still feel that it all depends on how one writes that answer! 

I do not have any fixed rules.

Members seeking points will answer anything.

I may or may not do the same as you. However, I wont answer secrets, income tax questions, personal data or help anyone trying to collect debt

Politics - religious questions - those kids in RE school in Utah. Not in any order.

What does bother me is the repetative questions where we bust our butts trying to help someone with a problem & then the next week someone asks the same ?.  Annoying.
