I think we'll always wonder, Dennis, about the "road not taken." I do the same from time to time but don't believe in too much "coulda, woulda, shoulda." And yes, there were a few decisions I might like to revisit, but I'm not sharing them in this public forum.

Remember your past but head towards a brighter future.  

Learn lessons from the past and understand you can not undo what has been done. Focus on moving forward!

I can't change it.   Why should I?

Twenty two years in the USAF were very good for me. I never said thanks to the guy who made it happen.  I always wondered what I would be doing now if I had not made that move away from my hometown. 

I believe I'm  where I was meant to be!  Things could have been different but is different better? 

I wonder what it would have been like to have stayed in college for graduate work.... my parents were always wondering if I would be a "professional student".....

Sitting in college with a job at a company that became BAE Systems, I would have worked my 20 years and been retired with a full pension right now. Instead i am working 72 hours a week on average but in a job i do love but the hours are long

There were alot of turns I could have made in the Road of Life  !  

Everything I've done in the past has brought me to where I am today, and I am happy with myself and my life at the moment. So I wouldn't redo anything.

So many decisions, so little time......

I have a few moments I wish I could revisit, to see how they would have changed the outcomes. I try to keep in mind that every choice I've made has gotten me to where I am right now. I do wonder sometimes, though...

I turned down baseball scholarships because my dad was in the hospital.  We had a working dairy farm and I just coule not walk away ans let my mom try and do all the  work with my younger sibs.  I do not rregret the decision and would have done it again, but I sometimes wonder what it.

Two that actually come to mind, not going ahead and getting my college diploma and not joining the military.  Otherwise all is good

Funny, we talked about this earlier..  

Wanted to get into real estate many years ago but we had 3 kids and everything that follows. My hubby made good money I was afraid to leave my job. Wish I did get an earlier start.  I wonder about that.  We did some investing.. Of course I would have ruled the neighborhood!! 

There are quite a few women I should have pursued back in my younger days... and some I should have avoided.  Not sure if that would have been "life changing" but certainly would have made life more fun.

The first time I married. BOY! What a mistake that ever was!

I do not have any regrets even I made plenty mistakes. This is life, you need to be your best and to do your best, you have only one chance, no replay options. 

Hi Dennis,  Life generally takes us where we need to go.  It is our attitude that can change the course of our life, regardless of circumstances.  You don't know what would have happened had you stayed.  Perhaps it would have turned out very badly due to some crazy circumstance beyond your control. 

I have often reflected on my life and realize the forks leading to the greatest happiness came through sadness and tragedy.

Hmm. Not accepting a scholarship to play football. I did, however, take a NROTC Marine Option scholarship. This was another choice I would like to revisit. Do we get two?! I suppose the only major regret I have is not serving in the military, which I would have been able to if I had kept my scholarship. 

But still, here I am. Happy. Healthy. With unlimited potential still.

I sometimes wonder "what if" when I see my friends retiring from companies with a full pension...
