Debbie Gartner gave you excellent advice, and I would have said the same thing. Give your posts a unique perspective something the MLS and other agents are not doing. A

Monthly statistics should work well. However, you can have separate statistics for the jurisdiction, the community and the neighborhood. It is a good idea to use your blogs as emails to your database of contacts in the respective areas.

Doyle Lee Austin Davison Iv I would think that once a month is the way to do it. Market reports can be a good way for you to get local traffic. However, recognize that if you repost what your realtor association is doing, it won't do you any good in google. You need unique content. So, ideally use your MLS to do your own market reports. 2nd best is to take the data from what you said and reuse/interpret this in your own words.

Thank you for the comment Gabe, I like seeing statistics in other areas too. My local realtor association is going to be offering a free report in 2015 that I should be able to repost.

Its not what we like that matters, it is what will bring in the clients.
Most people find that these boring reports do bring in the calls from those who are looking to buy or sell.

In a way I do like seeing what's going on in your market, but I'm not the reason you do the market reports and statistics. You do them for the prospective buyers and sellers and in hopes they will find you on the internet and consider you the local real estate expert.

I do them monthly, but I see some agents do weekly reports. You need something to blog about, right?:)
