I have been actively involved in in the title and escrow profession in Mariposa County since 1973. As a title officer I have personally performed and supervised thousands of title searches and the underwriting of title insurance in all areas of Mariposa County. In am intimately familiar with title issues unique to Mariposa and the surrounding areas. I am recognized as an industry leader, having served 20 years as a member of the California Land Title Association's prestigious Forms and Practices Committee and six years as a member of its Board of Governors.
I am a member of the American Escrow Association and the California Escrow Association and I have held the professional designations of Certified Senior Escrow Officer and Certified Escrow Instructor continuously since 1997. Maintaining these designations requires 45 hours of continuing education every three years. I am experienced in handling commercial, residential and bulk sale escrows.
I was president of Mariposa County Title Company from 1992 until its sale to First American Title Company in 2001. I am currently a Vice-President and County Manager for First American Title Company for Mariposa County, California.
