First licensed in January of 2000, I have lived and worked on the San Francisco Peninsula for over 40 years and am very familiar with all the area has to offer. Prior to a career in real estate, I worked in the securities business as a financial consultant/manager assisting clients with retirement & college planning, wealth building and understanding of the financial markets. This experience has helped me meld a strong financial background with the needs of the real estate client. My children have also set down roots in the area--my daughter lives in San Francisco and my two sons live in Redwood City and own a restaurant supply business as well as a retail gourmet store both located in San Carlos.
I have active interests in interior design, gardening and architecture that aid me in my real estate business. I also enjoy art, reading, vacations in Mexico and learning something new every day!
My specialities include working with first-time home buyers, move-up buyers and luxury home buyers. When working with sellers, I provide a full and comprehensive marketing plan that incorporates all aspects of the home selling process including preparation of the home for market, marketing, internet exposure, adverstising and escrow management.
I have completed many specialized real estate courses throughout the years, and have developed skills in advertsing and marketing properties. I received my Premier Property Specialist certification in 2002 which qualifies me in the sale of high end properties. In 2003 I completed a rigorous certfication program endorsed by the prestigious National Association of Realtors. A e-Pro certification means I am prepared to employ the latest in technology techniques available for your benefit when working with you in buying or selling a property. I also have been certificated as a CHMS (Certified Home Marketing Specialist). As a CHMS, I have the trained expertise to prepare a home for market resulting in higher selling prices and reduced market time.
As an experienced negotiator, I enjoy guiding my real estate clients through the process of home buying and selling and believe open communication creates a positive transaction for all concerned.
