The Kawohl Team specializes in single family homes, new construction, investment real estate, townhomes, condominiums, vacant land, waterfront and vacation properties. Areas include Woodbury, Cottage Grove, Lake Elmo, Afton, Stillwater, St. Paul, South St. Paul, North St. Paul, Maplewood, Inver Grove Heights and all of Washington County and Hudson/Western Wisconsin.
We are responsive, timely and enjoy challenges. We love what we do! John received his Real Estate license in 1999, Christine in 2003, and since has been our full time occupation. John and Christine are licensed in both Minnesota and Wisconsin.

| My boyfriend and I finally took the plunge and was going forth of buying our first home! We were recommended by a friend to use a certain mortgage company and that proceed us to have John Kawohl as our realtor. We have never dealt with realtors before and didn't know much about buying a home. We first contacted him and he immediately set us up with many homes to look at online. Our criteria was a bit picky of what we wanted in a house but within the 9 months of looking for house we saw about 10-15. John was very knowledgable about the field of house hunting. With the economy down we looked at everything on the books from short-sale to foreclosure to people just selling their house. He explained to us the good and bad about each house we had looked at and never pushed us into settling for the maybe potentials we saw in some houses. He knew the right house for us was out there and he was determined to find it. Being a hairstylist i have a super crazy schedule and with that he was able to show us a house even on a sunday night :) He was very quick at responding to our emails, calls and texts and answered any questions we had. We finally found the house we wanted and within being out of town on a long weekend trip John was able to relay information to us and got the deal done as my boyfriend and i were sitting on our boat fishing. Our closing date happened within 40 days of putting an offer in on our house and we are happily moved in! John is a very caring, hard working, friendly realtor. He will put your needs first and do the best he can to answer any questions as fast as he can. He is very easy to talk to and can relate to many different concerns people have of buying a home because he has experienced himself through purchasing his own homes and his experience being in the field. His dedication, kindness and knowledge will be the first thing i will tell people if they are looking for a realtor. | I had a great experience with selling my home with John and Chris Kawohl. We had them come out and evaluate the home for establishing a price. They carefully reviewed the other homes in the area that had been sold and did some careful comparing to make sure the home was accurately priced to sell. They hired a photographer to take pictures and created a virtual tour after helping me to stage the home. They provided a list of recommended suggestions to better market the home. We had a very good continuous flow of interested parties making appts to view our home. We were happy with the negotiations during the purchasing and at closing. I also had a positive experience in buying my new home with the same team. We went several places and researched the new community to find a central location close to schools, church, and work that fit our budget and our needs. We also were happy with the price we paid for the new home . On moving day, our movers ran out of room on the truck. John even let us move our belongings to his garage to meet our closing date time until the moving people could get back to it for a 2nd load! He brought the moving crew breakfast! |
