Candy, a native of Duluth, Minnesota, moved to the Brainerd Lakes Area in 1989 ending her career as a paralegal and commencing a career as a Realtor in Crosslake, Minnesota. Candy obtained her Broker's license in 1994 when she opted to purchase an interest in a local, privately owned real estate company and continued a successful career there throughout the years until she sold her ownership in 2003.
