Certifications
My favorite type to loans that I like doing, are commercial purchases and refinance. Yes they are a little more work, but it is so worth it. Unlike residential, in commercial lending I can broker in all 50 states.
On the residential side I like refinancing people who are currently in ARM loans and Chapter 13 bankruptcies.
When I am working with a first time home buyer, I educated them on all aspects of the loan process. This way at the closing table they are not getting a shock of their lives. They know the rate, the term, and payment are going to be every month.
One more note! Not only can I do conforming lending, but also hard money and foreign nationals and scores under 500 on both residential and commercial side.
