This is a really easy to navigate site and easy to use. I like being able to post my AR written posts on Wordpress and get extra mileage out of them. The blog editor is easy to use and there are many options for using widgets and other things that help boost SEO. This is a great compliment to a social media platform.

I have two wordpress sites and they are great. One is a blog only site that I have had for many years and relates to the town I live in. It gets a lot of hits. The second on I got recently is a IDX plug in Wordpress site that has ease of use for people doing a home search. It already is getting many hits and I get business for it. I highly recommend anyone to try it, it is free for the basic site.

My wordpress.org site is awesome. Google loves wordpress and these sites tend to do well in the search engines provide that you add good content and consistently blog. You should use the paid version where you pay for hosting and own the site (not the wordpress.com one which is free but pretty useless).
You can customize the site's theme and look and add lots of plugins to help w/ SEO and social sharing. One of the smartest investments I've made in my biz.

it is as simple as that, rather than be stuck to the rigid's of a templated website and or the high cost of a customized static website, WordPress offers you all the tools, designs, options and support that you may ever need in your web presence.
Not to forget, it is also very easy and affordable to get hired help for any work you do not want to do, which is essential once the site starts producing the results you are after.....

I use my Wordpress blog as the home of my IDX search and second blog. It's supposed to be simple to set up, but I'm getting professional help to update the look and transform it from another blog to a full-fledged web site. I have found it easy to add new material to the sections that are set up.

I love wordpress, and so does google! It was worth the small investment to pay someone to set it up, and ongoing the cost of hosting is minimal. It takes some time to build it up/build authority, but once you do, it can generate even more traffic than Active Rain does, and the two together are a perfect combo.
Best of all, you own it! You control the look and the content.
