This week we were hired to stage a chic condo located in the Savoy on the edge of Little Tokyo in downtown Los Angeles. The 735 sq. ft. unit is one bedroom with a surprisingly spacious bathroom and balcony large enough for a table & chairs. When the air is clear there are San Gabriel Mountains views from the balcony. There is a washer/dryer IN THE UNIT! Also included are 2 parking spaces and a storage space.

This past week I was hired to stage homes with not one, but 2 red dining rooms. We did one Hancock Park luxury home staging project ($3.5M) and a we did an Arcadia home staging project ($1.5M). Despite being in different parts of Los Angeles, in different price ranges and distinctly different architectural styles, both homes had one thing in common - red dining rooms! Last week, we had the great pleasure of staging another beautiful home in Encino for my favorite builder. We moved the furniture and our accessories from a different Encino home we had staged for him which sold. I love working with this builder because the quality of construction is excellent, his attention to detail is amazing and his homes are always so well designed. Both houses are similar in style, and while the square footage of each house was different, we staged the same number of rooms (except for one bedroom, a wine cellar and media room). DOM= less than one. Yep, its true. My crew and I staged a cute, vacant California Cottage in Silverlake, CA (a suburb of Los Angeles) on the Thursday before Christmas. We finished staging at about 5 PM. The homeowner (our client) was thrilled with the result. I wanted to come back the next day to bring a couple more throw pillows that I thought would be the perfect finishing touch on the window seat.
