So I’ve already said that I’m a numbers junkie.
Stats, trends and all of those numbers that horrify some people make me giddy with excitement. A number of months ago we at @properties released our 2007 Market Report based on micro-neighborhood findings here in the Chicago area. I talked extensively about our findings and what it takes to make a GREAT market report in a post I wrote here at TheYouFactor.com as well as in a post called A Great Market Report for the Institute of Luxury Home Marketing.

real estate trends: Read the fine print... S&P Case-Schiller Data Inaccurate and Skewed! - 04/30/08 05:53 AM

 It seems that EVERYONE wants to jump on the doom and gloom of the Real Estate Market nowadays without ever REALLY figuring out what the data means.  The post jumped out at me yesterday from the Inman Blog.  "Case-Shiller: Home prices drop in 19 of 20 metros"
Now typically I take everything with a grain of salt, but yesterday I just about jumped out of my chair.  After months and months of compiling information for one of the most in-depth market reports of Chicago ever, (See Report Here) I knew for a fact that Chicago HAD TO BE that one metro area...  Well … (4 comments)
