Well.......Part of it at least. On Monday July 9th a section of the new Route NC 16 opened. This long awaited section of the new NC 16 Bypass has been delayed by everything from frost, sleat, rain to government. The new segment starts at the intersection of Route 73 in Denver and continues south to meet with the current double lane section of Route NC 16 that runs into downtown Charlotte and the new Route 485 Loop.
