This generally means that it will take more days to get a good contract due to competition....especially since sellers will be trying to engage buyers who will be distracted by summer vacation time and kids out of school.   You can see this phenomenon on the line graph below where the # of sold homes in Fairfax county is in blue with the active listings in red.
