Fate, Texas Market Report For Homes Sold in 2011 When I was in highschool in Rockwall, Fate was a mere blink and you miss it town.  Though the town was established in the late 1800's, in 1950 Six men held a meeting for the purpose of establishing fresh drinking water from the new Lake Lavon. These men are honored in the naming of the streets that are built. . The City of Fate will continue to recognize the residents and business owners of our town in the past with this same honor. The new residents of Fate will have a part of the City's History with these street names!! Which is really cool! This town sat for over 50 years with everyone knowing their neighbors. The active listings range from $119,000 to $152,777. The homes are fairly new with the oldest one on the market built in 2007.   This is a rural area which qualifies for 100% financing.
