 The kickoff event will begin on Saturday August 18th at 6 PM with a two mile run, jog, or walk, on the Solanco Cross Country Course, 585 Solanco Road Quarryville, PA. Registration will begin at 4:30 PM. Attendees may bring lawn chairs to watch the current varsity teams scrimmage with Octorara and Oxford. The girls will scrimmage at 5 PM and the boys at 5:30 PM.   An alumni and family picnic will follow the scrimmage at 6:30 PM.   The Lighthouse Youth Center will host its 28th annual benefit golf tournament on Friday August 10th at Tanglewood Manor Golf Club 653 Scotland Road, Quarryville, PA. Registration will be from 11 AM to 12:15 PM, and a putting contest will be held until 12:15 PM. Golfers will tee off with a shotgun start at 1 PM. A fried chicken dinner will be held after the event, and prizes will be awarded then.   Students in kindergarten through eighth grade and their parents are invited to STEAM Night on Tuesday February 27th at Solanco High School. Registration will begin at 4:50 PM. Dinner will be served from 5 to 5:45 PM, and the activity stations will be open from 6 to 7:30 PM.  STEAM Night will feature demonstrations and hands on activities including forensic finger printing, drones, the High School television studio, and clay sculpting.
