Hi Everybody For {almost} Wordless Wednesdays I had to put this picture from the terrace of our newest listing in Ft. Lee New Jersey.It affords a beautiful view of the George Washington bridge and Hudson River views.Not sure if you can see the ice in the Hudson as it is a very warm day here today for a January day. If anyone has ever had a Callahan's hot dog, it was an experience you will never forget. For those of you who are not from NJ and have never been, I will explain. In NJ, there are a few places like Callahan's that deep fry the hot dogs. Your first reaction right now may be one of disbelief, but they are the best. Hot oil cooks them perfectly and it is not absorbed into the hot dog. We deep fry turkeys in the south...right? The hot dogs at Callahans were large, tasty and they would snap when you bite into them. Accompany the hot dog with some fries and a birch beer and you just put together one of my favorite childhood memories. Callahans in Ft Lee NJ is now closed. I think they put/or are putting a bank there. Not sure exactly. Left standing is Hirams just across the street which serves... 12/02/2009
