Apart from newer homes, part of the appeal is the proximity of  Forest Hills Central Middle and High Schools, Forest Hills Central Woodlands 5/6 School, St Roberts & Ada Christian Schools, which are within walking distance. The Villas of Ada Condos are still under construction in our neighborhood off Hall St and Ada Drive in Ada Michigan. The bulldozers are moving  earth and getting things prepped for building to begin. They are really reshaping this 17 acre plat. There was a hill here that has been flattened and of course, all the trees in the middle are gone. The ad campaign has started and there is information at  thegrvillas.com  from the developer about the amenities and construction plans. According to their articles, they are offering 1 to 3 bedroom ranch condos with attached 2 stall garage.  They are also planning on including an outdoor heated pool, a 24 hr Fitness Center located on site in the community clubhouse.  Pricing starts around $200,00 and up. Forest Hills Gardens is located between Ada Drive and Hall Street just west of Forest Hills Central High School.  This well established development of about 200 homes was built in the 1960's and 1970's with a few of the homes bordering on Paradise Lake, pictured below. The update for the Villas of Ada, Ada MI  is that the bulldozers have moved in,  three existing homes have been torn down and are on their way out.  We have been watching the progress every day as we drive by. The road has  been closed this week to hook up sewer and water. At the present it looks  pretty more destructive than constructive, but that is what the building process is all about.           A large home was here but is gone now. The one on the right is the only one left of the three existing homes being removed. Our neighborhood connects to this parcel on the right. We can hear the dozers and land moversworking away all day.  These photos are taken from Hall Street.
