Great Horned Owl - Roy and Dolores Kelley Photographs 10/5/11 Dolores and I usually look for flowers to photograph when we explore the Maryland countryside.  We were lucky to discover the Birds of Prey exhibit at the Boonsboro Days annual event in Boonsboro, Maryland. This Great Horned Owl displays the colors of the fall season.  Be sure to have your camera in hand when you have those special moments that you wish to capture. Kentlands Peach Pie Recipe Pie Crust1 ¼ cups all purpose flour¼   tsp salt4 Tbsp butter or margarine (cold, cut up)2 Tbsp vegetable shorteningCustard Filling1 container (8 ounce) sour cream2 large eggs¾ cup sugar¼ cup all purpose flour1 tsp vanilla extract3-4 large ripe peaches, about 1 ¾ pounds (peeled, pitted, and cut into ¼ inch thick slices)Prepare Pie 1.    In medium bowl, combine flour and salt. With pastry blender or 2 knives used scissor fashion cut in butter with shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir 4 to 6 tablespoons ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time, into flour mixture, mixing after each addition until dough is just moist enough to hold together. With hands, shape dough into a disk.
