  Middlesex Chamber Business After Work, At Powder Ridge.  I always have my eye out for networking events, and there is a good one scheduled for Wednesday, January 13th, at the Powder Ridge Mountain Park & Resort.   This will be the first time the Powder Ridge Mountain Park & Resort will host a Middlesex Chamber Business After Work Event, but everyone of the Middlesex Chamber Business After Work Events are so well done, and this one will be as well. Lyman Orchards Winterfest Approaches   Snow can be a ski resort’s best friend, give a kid the chance to try out that new sled, or just be nice to look as it sparkles under a full moon. But it can also throw a monkey wrench into the plans to hold an outdoor event, and that’s what happened last weekend when Lyman Orchards tried to hold their 39th annual Winterfest. Yesterday I took my family to the Lyman Orchards Corn Maze in Middlefield Connecticut.  Lyman Orchards is a wonderful place to enjoy lots of fall activities and gorgeous scenery! .... here is a photo of the Lyman Homestead.  Click here to learn the colorful history of this family and farm land that dates back all the way back to 1741!   The Corn Maze was loads of fun!
